I've been visiting Hattie regularly since she opened in Adlington for deep tissue massages to help relieve pain and tight muscles caused by exercise, running, and long hours at a desk. I left a positive review after my first visit, but after my latest experience, I felt another review was well deserved.
Before my back surgery, I regularly had massages with Hattie as part of looking after my body. I then had to take a three-month break while I recovered, and this was my first massage since returning. Hattie took the time to listen carefully to how I'd been feeling since my surgery and tailored the treatment to suit exactly what my body needed.
Like many people recovering from surgery, I'd developed pain and tightness from overcompensating. Hattie instinctively knew which areas needed deeper work and which needed a much gentler approach. She combined a range of techniques, including deep tissue massage, gentler massage, a herbal compress and cupping, adapting each one to the different areas of my body. By the end of the treatment, I felt noticeably looser, less restricted and far more comfortable.
Safe to say I'd really missed my massages! I also loved the new wallpaper, it's so calming and adds to the peaceful atmosphere. After a particularly stressful few months, it was exactly what I needed. For the first time in a while, I was able to completely switch off, relax and take some much-needed time for myself.
Thank you so much, Hattie. Even though I was still sore and delicate in places, I felt completely safe throughout the treatment and trusted the process. I had every confidence in your professionalism and experience, knowing you would always work within my limits and do what was best for me rather than simply following a routine treatment.
I genuinely believe these massages will play an important part in my recovery, and I can't recommend Hattie highly enough. If you're looking for someone who truly listens, adapts every treatment to your individual needs and creates a calm, welcoming environment, Hattie is exceptional.

A wonderful therapeutic and relaxing massage. Hattie is warm, friendly, professional and is extremely good at what she does. She has the ability to release tension and stiffness with a perfect balance of relaxation. I am rebooking straight away!
